Reverse

the mirror field of the disc bears relief images of a flying winged human figure and a star against the background of stylised images of the sky full of stars and mythological creatures – the zodiacal constellations of Taurus, Leo, and Sagittarius; below, along the rim there are inscriptions: ‘12 АПРЕЛЯ 1961 г.’ (12 APRIL 1961) and ‘60 ЛЕТ ПЕРВОГО ПОЛЕТА ЧЕЛОВЕКА В КОСМОС’ (THE 60th ANNIVERSARY OF THE FIRST HUMAN SPACE FLIGHT).
